Wood is a material that by its very nature produces a lower environmental impact than other materials used for the production of parquet, doors and windows. The wood can be easily reused, recycled and finally disposed of, while its aesthetic and functional characteristics provide a high performance product.
For the construction of parquet, doors and boiserie we offer a line of bio wood that we ourselves produce using two treatments:
- evaporation
- drying
Evaporation is carried out inside tanks through the introduction of water vapour, which raises the humidity and heat inside the wood. The purpose of the subsequent drying is to bring the wood to a low level of humidity, so as to make it stable and suitable for successive processing.
Organic wood has an aged appearance, an intense colour and pronounced veins. It also has greater stability and less resin in coniferous woods.
During this processing, no chemicals or products harmful to human health or the environment are used.
